FAQ

Quick answers to the questions store owners ask most.

Can I use my own fonts?

Monograph uses Shopify’s font library, so pages load fast and fonts are licensed for you. Choose fonts for headings, body text and labels in Theme settings > Typography.

Does it work with apps?

Yes. The product page, the featured product section and the Apps section accept app blocks. For apps that give you a code snippet, use the Custom Liquid section or block.

How do I show “Price on request”?

Turn on the lusso.hide_price field for that product. To take enquiries instead of orders, turn on lusso.enquiry too. See Product details.

Can I switch between a slide-out bag and a cart page?

Yes. Theme settings > Cart > Cart type.

Can I turn off the animations?

Yes. Theme settings > Motion. The theme also turns them off for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion.

Does it support several languages and currencies?

Yes. When you sell in more than one country or language, country and language selectors appear in the footer and the phone menu.

Does it support subscriptions?

Yes. Subscription options from your subscription app show on the product page and in the cart.

How do updates work?

When a new version is out, Shopify shows it in Online Store > Themes. Updating keeps everything you set in the theme editor. Changes made directly to the theme’s code are not carried over, so keep a note of them.

Can I edit the code?

You can, but always duplicate your theme first (Online Store > Themes > … > Duplicate) and edit the copy. We can’t support code changes, so for custom work we suggest hiring a Shopify Partner.
